Review of Paper Moon (1973) by Sam W — 14 May 2012
There's not one thing about "Paper Moon" that isn't attractive. Ryan and Tatum O'Neal are both just fabulous as the film's leads, the black-and-white cinematography is sleek and precise, and the script is both funny and endearing.
On top of that, Bogdanovich does some of his finest directing yet, equally balancing the film's dramatic and humorous elements. This is a fabulous film.
