Review of Paper Heart (2009) by John T — 19 Jan 2010
This was ok. That's the best I could say about it. There's a lot of interviews of what love is as Charlyne Yi (the weird girl in Knocked Up) tries to discover what love means. She films a documentary and beings to fall for Michael Cera.
It has such a documentary feel to it that you almost forget that they're acting, which is good. The two are so extremely awkward, like in most of their movies. Still, the last act doesn't really give you any closure and you're left kind of hating the ending.
It wasn't good, it wasn't bad. It was just an ok waste of time. I've seen these actors in much better films. I suggest watching those. This movie, did have like every 'B' list comedian I've ever seen, though.
Which is a plus. A shit-ton of cameos.
