Review of Paper Heart (2009) by Lindsay — 12 Aug 2010

I liked this film's play with the line between reality and fiction and that's what really kept me engaged. Though some people aren't, I'm personally a Michael Cera fan, and although he was all too similar to his other roles (ahem...typecast) it played well into the overall fell of the movie.

What held me back from liking this movie more was its momentum. There were places where I felt like it plateaued a bit, leaving me uninterested...and then it would be salvaged at the last minute, pulling me back in to keep watching.

Overall, it's a very cute and offbeat romance movie for anyone that's tired of a cliche love story, but still looking for a positive outlook.
