Review of Paper Heart (2009) by Aaron B — 21 Sep 2010
This is almost a documentary about love. Charlyne Yi ( The giggling pot headed girl on the couch in the movie Knocked Up ) claims she doesn't believe in love. So she grabs a camera and a microphone and sets out to bother people about their definition.
On the way she meets Michael Cera and the scripted parts of this almost documentary begins. It also gets nearly unbearable. Except I thought it was unbearable. It was cutesy and contrived and just amazingly unfunny.
Or un anything at all. Trust me the charm wears off of this movie really freakin fast. I hope you find more in this movie, because love is not a feeling I have for it.
