Review of Paper Clips (2004) by Wendy S — 29 Jan 2008
I thought this was going to be an upbeat doco about kids who collected paperclips - it didn't occur to me they would be studying the Holocaust and got the idea from the Norwegians, who wore paperclips in protest.
The doco is a bit hokey but still very interesting. They received 29 million paperclips from around the world, which they put in an old German train car to commemorate the Holocaust victims - in a small southern Christian town not far from the birth place of the KKK.
