Pan's Labyrinth is Guillermo del Toro's masterpiece. It's a drama with a fantasy/horror twist involving fascist brutality and the fear of growing up. It's not a film for everyone. It is dark, depressing, violent and terrifying.
But if you think you're up to it, you should give it a shot.
