Can't believe I've waited so long to watch this incredible piece of film. Pan's Labyrinth is the kind of movie you absolutely need to see to understand its true magic and pure genius. The journey is filled with a good vs evil battle that transcends the harsh reality of the aftermath of the Spanish Civil war into Ofelia's fantasy world.
You best be prepared, this ride is quite bumpy as Del Toro does not allow the viewer to ever get too comfortable in their own skin, nevermind their seat.
