Review of Panic Room (2002) by Barry N — 29 Jul 2011
An interesting thriller that really stands above other thrillers of this type. Good action and suspense until the final five minutes. Jodie Foster plays her part well, and Forest Whitaker nails his as a bad guy who has a somewhat change of heart.
Dwight Yoakam even does pretty well playing the heartless bad guy. You also get to see Kristen Stewart in her early days. Why Jared Leto had cornrows in this movie is beyond me, though. Still a pretty decent movie for what it is.
