Review of Panic Room (2002) by Jacob G — 25 Jul 2010
Decent thriller. Jodie Foster is always great. Kristen Stewart showed that she was a terrible actress then, too--not just a recent phenomenon. The movie starts off strong with a good (but obvious) set-up, great filming during the break-in, etc.
However, it drags on too long, treading the same territory over and over during the middle of the movie. This, more than anything, drags the movie down. Watch it for a decent movie that doesn't break any ground but manages to amuse.
