Review of Panic Room (2002) by Marcus R — 18 Oct 2012
Pretty disappointed with this one. David Fincher is reputedly one of the best suspense thriller directors out there, but this film isn't vastly as entertaining as the other in his collection. "Panic Room" is to Fincher as "The Birds" was to Hitchcock.
It had much potential, but something was just severely lacking. The attempts at plot twists were an epic fail and everything just felt flat. The acting was swell, but nothing mesmerizing. A slightly above average film to say the least.
