Review of Panic Room (2002) by Christopher S — 18 Feb 2010
The story was good and it had some good moments but overall, it was disappointing. I had never even heard of panic rooms before this film so that was intriguing. However, the acting for the most part was not that great and that was disappointing as well.
Jodie Foster and Forest Whitaker are both Academy Award winners but they did not stand out. Neither did a young Kristen Stewart. Dwight Yoakam was excellent as the sadistic Raoul but other that that, David Fincher could have done so much more.
