Review of Panic Room (2002) by Gabriella P — 12 Jun 2013
If you expect huge action from "Panic Room", you'll be disappointed. David Fincher is one of the best directors of the time, and he uses very interesting camera angles and transitions for this story which otherwise could have been horrible.
Taking place in one house, you'll never know by the way Fincher films and paces the action, which takes place on every level of the several story home and the actual panic room concept is unique and it's characteristics are too.
The performances from the pre-twilight Kristen Stewart, Jodie Foster, Forrest Whittaker, and Jared Leto all work amazing together. Possibly because they each bring such different elements to their roles and do it so well.
