Actually I would give this an 8; but to counter the nitwits who give things a zero.. Grow up! As is so depressingly usual, the pro crits hated this. Yawn. It's a well-made sci-fi scarer with a pretty sensible plot and believable characters.
Amen! For this to get slammed while a half-baked POS like "District 9" gets major strokes because it's seen as "political satire" (albeit of the most sophomoric type) is just funny.
I hope it does well on DVD, it deserves to. Give it a dark room and a big tv and you'll have fun.
