The true horror of this Sci-fi/horror hybrid is the fact that this mess ever made it to the big screen in the first place. This movie rips off every good idea from classic sci-fi films like 2001, Aliens, Predator, and the Thing, as well as not-so-classic films like Event Horizon.
What is created is a big sloppy mess of a movie with a mishmash of themes and characters and no coherent story. Go back and watch Alien or The Thing to see how this movie should have turned out.
