Review of Pandorum (2009) by Dylan C — 26 Jun 2011
Dark and bleak sci-fi/horror flick is tense and haunting. After a ship is launched into space shortly before Earth is destroyed, Ben Foster and Dennis Quaid awake to find the ship empty, or so it seems.
I admit I dig sci-fi films and this one maintained my interest throughout. The screenplay is mostly bland and cliched but the performances are fresh and exciting. This film also explores its premise beyond the immediate concept and offers us a dark and engrossing, if not flawed, story.
A go for fans of science fiction/horror, others may want to proceed with caution.
