Review of Pandorum (2009) by Dan B — 03 Sep 2011
Sci-fi horror with two good leads (though Quaid is underused) that sits somewhere between Event Horizon and Dead Space. It doesnâ(TM)t quite come together, and the dialogue is annoyingly muddy and indistinct, but nonetheless there are some signs of intelligent life and, even if the premise is not strikingly original, the film's failures at least look like the result of ambition rather than a lack thereof.
