Pandorum (2009) -- [4.5] -- The filmmakers are hellbent on keeping everything mysterious to the very end: where are we? who are we? what are we doing? I'm all for a good mystery, but you have to give me something or someone to care about while you leave me in the dark, and that's where "Pandorum" falls short.
Instead, the movie is preoccupied with misdirection, twists, and reveals. It's like a Price Is Right showcase showdown. Problem is, there's not a trip to Italy or a new car behind any door. Best you're gonna get is a toaster oven here.
