Review of Pandorum (2009) by Ryan L — 22 Jul 2013
I'll have to say, I found the mental illness "pandorum" as an interesting narrative in this "who's the crazy one here" scenerio, making me rather intrigued and yet waiting for an answer up to the climax. The characters are mostly what'll you'll find in a zombie setting, and the back story was brought up a few times before deserted upon learning it wasn't truly plot-important. It was a little fun seeing the mutants and all, but you could replace them with fast-moving zombie tribes and it would've been the same. Personally, with its rather interesting situation and characters, It would be more suiting in that of a video game, which would be a pretty awesome game, but nonetheless, Dead Space already exists for this type of situation.
Other than that, the plot was straight forward with a few bumps here and there, some platonic relationship between the main character and love interest(?) that isn't really focused or addressed until the end, and something I was rather happy to come across on Netflix.
