Review of Pandora's Box (2009) by Tim S — 20 Oct 2008
One of the best silent films I have ever seen (not that I have seen a lot). Louise Brooks is one of the most captivating screen presence's of all time. She is not only beautiful, but the performance she gives is way beyond her time.
Considering she doesn't have any lines to deal with, its quite a feat to watch. The cinematography is gorgeous (the use of smoke is really nice) and the final act is amazing. It's a film that stands the test of time.
