Review of Pandora's Box (2008) by Louise D — 09 Jul 2016
The plot is not worth describing, being so much nonsense, and don't even mention the characterisation. This film survives solely due to the timeless luminescence of Louise Brooks, who is vivacious, vulnerable and thoroughly seductive.
Saw as part of the Yorkshire Silent Film Festival 2016 with live piano accompaniment which highlighted the melodrama.
