Review of Pan (2015) by Calvin C — 10 Oct 2015
If it wasn't for Hugh Jackman's showy performance, this re-imagining would be a total bore. The whole "finding the one" story is getting old and the film felt incomplete, even with the happy ending. Joe Wright is usually a good visual director, but here, he falls a little short with a story that is too all over the place to be magical.
