Visually fantastic, with a great villainous performance by Jackman. If you just treat it as a stand-alone adventure instead of getting hung up on where it fits in the "history" of Peter Pan, it's simply a fun ride with a subtler-than-usual (for a children's movie) message of how to achieve confidence believe in oneself.
