Review of Pan (2015) by Guimo P — 13 Oct 2015
I attended this flick with a diverse group: teenage niece, first grade nephew, grandmother, forty year old brother and my critical movie rating self. Though implausible as others have mentioned: this is Peter Pan.
Artistic license was appreciated. It was fun and entertained he whole group, though I had to wonder how these powerful fairies could be so powerful at the end and be so overwhelmed in the story's cannon.
Jackman was great as were the kids in the film. We're there flat characters and predictable exchanges? Yes, however, people are being harder on this movie then they ought to. A popcorn flick that won't leave lasting discussion but temporary entertainment.
