'Pan' is the type of bomb where you can tell everyone truly is trying their best. I give it points for creativity, but the bad dialogue and entirely disjointed pastiche of random scenes culminate in an unintentionally funny medley of the bizarre.
Hugh Jackman is genuinely great as a fantastical version of Blackbeard, but said character clearly belongs in a different film.
