Where to begin...?
+ everything before Neverland wasn't terrible.
+ I like the attempt at being creative.
- The pacing is awful. Moves way too fast and thus no attachment to any character develops.
- The actor playing James Hook did some Captain Sparrow/Heath Ledger Joker mix which was just awful.
- Special effects were over used and unimpressive.
And finally...
- Playing Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" in the prequel to one of the most beloved creative children's stories of all time. At no point in time could any explanation validate the decision to do this. Just an awful idea which proves one person was making all the decisions and everyone else involved was just a "yes man".
