There is no respect for the original story at all. While Hook did a coherent sequel of Peter Pan that fits in the mythology, Pan reboots everything and leaves not a trace from the original. Don't expect to know more about the past of Peter Pan's characters, expect to follow the story of manichean characters good guys vs bad guys. I was thrilled by the idea of seeing Hook entering the dark side, but no, Hook is just a good guy all along.

A lot of CGI for a boring Neverland, but the magic ain't there.
