Read Evans scholar speedy's audience review which essentially mirrors my thoughts when exiting the theater. I need to catch up and get more in touch with what I hope was not a major representation of today's children.
Most of the depressing subjects that teens can encounter were there, but the abundance of smoking (cigs and weed) were a bit much after a while, for these "golden" high-schoolers. I didn't really like the film so much as I found the subject matter in the form of 5 children's' joyless lives and travails (for the most part) rather fascinating.
