It's just a rip off of Groundhog Day, turned into a rather generically themed Rom Com. Someone thought, 'what if you were stuck in Groundhog day, but with someone you loved? Let's make a movie.' The writers went to the effort of doing their science homework, which is cute, but it's still predictable and dull.
You know they're gonna fall out at some point and then make up. You know there's gonna be a big scene at the end with the guy making a lofty speech about his love. Funny thing is, the female actress doesn't really seem that into him.
Kind of realistic at least, seeing as he's acting so needy.
