Review of Palindromes (2005) by Chad J — 03 Jul 2007
"Palindromes" is Todd Solondz' undisputed masterpiece. Through his jaundiced eyes, we see seven actresses (and one actor) play the same character over the course of the film, and the result is a dizzying exploration of what it means to be a woman and, ultimately, what it means to be a mother.
A film that stays in your mind like cinematic splinter.
