Review of Palindromes (2005) by Royce V — 07 Feb 2008
This is probably the only Todd Solondz film that I did not like. I did however appreciate its approach to the complexities of the abortion debate: Aviva's forced abortion complicates the tenuous "pro-choice" epithet while the assasination of the abortionist by the pro-life "militia" likewise demonstrates the difficulty of applying the "pro-life" epithet to anti-abortionists.
In other words, "pro-life" isn't alway "pro-life" after all and vice versa.
