Review of Palindromes (2005) by Rick S — 22 Feb 2008
Absolutely no production value, second rate acting and inflammatory subject matter might lead to a knee-jerk dismissal of this film as nothing more than art house exploitation, but Palindromes definitely has something to say.
Palindromes dares you to pick a side, and then assures you that no matter where you stand, you're wrong. Whether one agrees with Solondz' general pessimism or not, one can't help but be challenged by it.
