Review of Palindromes (2005) by Chase J — 09 Mar 2008
I love this film. I love how Solondz shows the extremes of both sides in the pro-choice/ pro-life debate and does'nt try to be preachy or force his own beliefs on the viewer. I also think using 8 different actresses to play the lead character Aviva was effective, especially in the final scene where all 8 actresses play her again in descending order and the character becomes a palindrome.
Brilliant!!
