Review of Pale Rider (1985) by Jack G — 09 Nov 2008
Not quite as all-kinds-of-awesome as High Plains Drifter, Josey Wales or, for that matter, Unforgiven, but there's still lots of Western excitement and entertainment t go around. Even when Clint seens like he's slumming it, and he does once or twice (who can stand that corny dialog with the daughter played by Sydney Penny, or that obvious Shane ending only happier), he's still some kind of true master of the genre.
