A typical Clint Eastwood western, but that doesn't make it any less good. It is not, though, on the same par as "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly". But is it still very good. The story was done very good and was different in many ways, but the same to other movies in other ways.
There weren't many gunfights, but the story was interesting enough to cancel that out. And the last gunfight in the movie was very good. As for the acting, everyone did exceptional. Clint Eastwood was excellent as the Preacher and I thought Michael Moriarty was great as Barret.
