Review of Pain & Gain (2013) by Ryan B — 30 Jun 2014

I'm not really sure what to think of this one. I mean there was so much going on in this movie that I don't know where to start. I can't really tell if I even liked it, I mean I liked the actors but the plot was just everywhere.

What I can say for sure is that this was a very dark comedy/kind-of-thriller/drama and I know I won't watch it again but I think it might just be worth watching once. Apparently it was based on a true story also.

This was probably my least favorite movie from Michael Bay so far but he's still (and I'm probably one of the only few) my favorite director, just for action mostly. The acting was surprisingly good for this being a low budget type movie, there was a tad bit of comedy but it's dark comedy, nothing that'll make you laugh out loud, it's not that kind of movie.

I'd recommend it only once but overall I'd have to say Unrecommended.
