Review of Paid in Full (2002) by Johnny M — 27 Aug 2009
Love this film, one of my all-time favorites. A street story that takes place in Harlem and focuses on a hard-working black kid who takes over the Harlem drug trade over the span of a year. Cam'ron is introduced in this flick and does a very effective job portraying a soldier of the streets.
Phifer is an all-out hustler known as "Money Mitch" and Wood Harris shows his unique acting ability which makes his character seem so believable. I gotta say some of the scenes are cheesy and cliche but the story itself is real and carries the movie.
If you're looking for a flick that'll show you what a "G" is, watch Wood Harris in this one.
