Review of Page One: Inside the New York Times (2011) by Ryan O — 15 Oct 2011
I am left wanting to see a documentary or any other kind of movie about the life of David Carr. He is exceptional and a true role model. Journalism so many times appears to be inaccessible and arrogant, but people like David Carr is 'of the people' and authentic.
As a documentary, there was def an agenda to sell the 'new' new york times and how its is attempting to evolve to stay alive in the current world of technology. BUT, it didnt matter; cause the movie was thought-provoking and both sides of the argument about the current state of the news-media were presented.
