Review of Paddington (2014) by Chantal V — 16 Apr 2015
Well this was the surprise of the week for me. I didn't expect this to be this wonderful. I absolutely love the cinematography, the wonderfully bright, warm colours and the crispness. The technical aspect of creating Paddington's movements, especially his hair, is truly impressive.
It's funny without being ridiculous, I laughed out loud a few times which is unusual. In these times of artsy open or unhappy endings, the happy end was very welcome. As an aside - the movie art, especially the various promotional posters, are beautiful.
