Review of Paddington (2014) by Sam W — 27 Dec 2015
A cleverly constructed film that manages to be charming and quaint whilst being silly and childish. The caricature of London is artistic and thanks to the little touches and light-hearted atmosphere, it looks and sounds great.
The story does lack some cohesion and its hard (as a cynic) not to see the political undertones of immigration, but the big names are well used in their cameo roles.
