Whenever I recommend Paddington2 to a friend, the first thing they do is ask "Is it animated?" The answer is no, it's mostly real human actors (good ones, too!), and the bear is so lifelike, it doesn't seem animated at all.
The bear is wonderful, and you just want to hug him. If there was an award for a performance by an inanimate object, he would win it. Both Paddington1 and Paddington2 are very entertaining for adults, not just kids.
Cinematically gorgeous, lots of fun with a good story.
