This is arguably the most politically relevant film in theaters right now. Paddington 2 addresses the seriously backwards standards for caring for immigrants and refugees, and the inherent racism in modern society.
Paddington is an immigrant from "Darkest Peru," who is assumed guilty of a crime he did not commit due to that status. Read into this story, learn from this story, and have a great time watching all the while.
