Does it have cool robots fighting monsters? Yes it does. Are the designs cool? Yes, they are. Is there anything interesting besides that? No, not really. A total focus group product riding on the tails of the much better first movie.
Pacific Rim Uprising really doesn't rise to the occasion, and ends up being mediocre at best.
