Review of Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018) by Andy V — 23 Mar 2018

Absolutely loved this movie. It did not forget its source material and it kept true to the genre! The action was intense and it kept you guessing at each turn. The characters were likable and easy to get attached to.

I enjoyed seeing the returning characters have such prominent roles in the movie. I also thought the new lead roles did very well. The Pacific Rim movies have themes tied to the mecha genre of anime and it had a few nice Easter eggs hidden throughout the movie.

In total, I thought it was a great, action packed movie that was fun to watch.
