The worst part is the unimaginative writing. This movie felt more like a corny power rangers film or another Transformers installation. The story seemed very predictable and "safe" to me. The writers did nothing to add to the lore of the original film and in the end it made the movie just another generic action film that people watch once and forget about.
The characters were good and I enjoyed the acting. The action, fighting, and special effects were good. But as a fan of the first film, I do not ever want to watch this film again.
