Review of Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018) by Caleb J — 25 Mar 2018
This was lacking the fun of its predecessor. It was clearly lacking the touch of Del Toro's direction this second effort. Not that Del Toro minds, he walked away with an Oscar for the Shape of Water as result of being booted as the director of this film.
It was a middling effort at best, and it lacks the soul of the original film.
