Review of Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018) by Shannon K — 05 Apr 2018

I really enjoyed this film I think John Boyega does a great job holding he's own in this film, very funny & surprising, honestly forgot it was a sequel, I don't know why the movies get so much hate, to compare to transformers is not transformers, The Jagers are piloted by humans, and I guess everybody missed the pop-culture references because They don't know the culture in Japan, if you don't know what mecha or manga is I almost jumped out of my chair for the reference to mobile suit Gundam, but I guess most people will skip this one and go for the other big budget films that have the big directors will get more attention.

I'm sure a lot of hard-core fans appreciate the nod and hopefully one day, will have a Gundam film knock on wood there's definitely a audience for it and I believe that the ratings don't reflect how the film is doing with audiences.
