Review of Pacific Rim: Uprising (2018) by Movienights — 04 Nov 2018
The fight scenes were just absolutely freaking awesome, it's just too bad the story and the writing doesn't come anywhere close to backing that up. It's a fun enough movie but it's not anywhere close to the first one.
This just has the feel of a low budget movie. A little bit recommended, it's a fun enough watch but don't expect it to be as good as the first. I'm definitely waiting for the sequel that's hopefully better.
