Review of Pacific Rim (2013) by Borhan K — 08 Aug 2014

Pacific Rim from the start I had lots of promise for this film.

I thought it would be a massive action epic film that had an original idea that I would sit and be blown away by this film.

I am sorry to say Pacific Rim was a oversized flop.

Firstly the cast were a group of new comers that did their best with the material they were given.

In a few sentences or words Pacific Rim can be explained like this imagine a cross over movie that takes transformers meets Godzilla.

From the first scene I saw and remember from the beginning it had they humans suit up in a metal package that makes them looks like a character in a video game. Then they put on motor bike helmets that all of a sudden fill up with this yellow liquid that looks like pee.

The storyline is basic and all it is that a Godzilla type creature is going to destroy the world and the transformer machine that us humans have created has to defeat them.

You lose all sense of the story because its too long and all you really pay attention to is a hot asian sensation actress that does a fight scene with the main leading man that is kinda hott.

Besides all this the movie is literally too dark all the Godzilla and Transformer Machine scenes seem to be filmed at night and although you are watching the best quality the movie is dark and blurry and too bloody long.

There is one scene that the Godzilla character sprays fluro blue liquid that looks like a final battle scene in the Infamous game.

This would have been a cool video game. I think as this is a movie from a strong movie studio they will make a sequel however I think it does not deserve a sequel.

If you want to watch a movie with pointless action this is it but you will waster over 2 hours of your life.

I want my money back.

The movie is M and is ok for 13 year old and above as this movie would be for them as the special effects would get their attention however I think is an utter bore and their are better action movie flicks.
