Tons of fun. I wasn't preached at or force fed that it was somehow mankind's fault this was happening. Just great action, great special effects and and likeable characters. Come on, its giant robots fighting giant aliens.
Don't look for deeper meaning of life here, just sit back and enjoy the hell out of it.
