Poor Tom - his date didn't go as well as he planned :(.
P2 is a simple, stylish, by-the-numbers cat-and-mouse thriller. It's entertaining - once things get started (very quickly), there's never a dull moment. It's also got two very well done gory scenes. It's got quite a bit of dark humor from Wes Bentley (and some unintentional humor as well). It could've been much better if the director didn't include the predictable, pathetic "jump" scares and slasher cliches.
It's no Misery or Panic Room but it's worth watching if you're in the mood.
